hi
just a question im running new 33" bfg km2,s on a beam axle hilux double cab what psi should i run then at on the road to get best wear out of them?
what psi to run?
Re: what psi to run?
Tyres are pretty simple, for max mileage run 'em hard (40-60psi, dependent on the tyre, most BFG's will handle 60, it'll ride like a tank though)
For max grip, run 'em low (down to 28psi on the road)
But there are tradeoffs, so play around with 'em 'till you get what you want. There is no magic number.

Re: what psi to run?
Hi, Its abit of a trial and error thing
My tyre guy said 40psi all round for my surf. The fronts have worn beautifully at that, but the rear being lighter is overinflated and wearing in the centre.
I would start at 40psi in the front and 36 - 38psi in the rear, higher if loaded up all the time
