egr removal td42

replacing my td 42 engine (no egr's) with a later td42 one that has the egr's and around a million pipes, can i take it all off and just put a standard inlet in its place off the old engine without any trouble?? or are there other issues?? thanks.

Not sure if these are of any use? One or 2 relate to the TD42Ti though, I think.

strip it off. and install egt and boost gauges.
