dash lights

silly question?


has a 91 escudo got a battery light in the dash cluster? i can't remember seeing one and there isn't one now. Alternator's not charging.

my vitara does have one. So I would assume the escudo would

Check the main power feed from Alt to battery, had a fault in a mates hilux like this. Alt was working so no light in dash but no power getting to batteries.

cheers will have a look. though the light doesnt come on when you turn the key, i've taken the cluster out and swapped bulbs etc, can't be sure it's even got one.


edit: sparky says it's let the smoke out. $460 rebuild, $220 new. tough choice...
