Trying to get the S2A's 186/202 running on song.
New to these motors so not actually sure if it is a 186 or 202 yet, anyone know location of block numbers?
Got her running alright but the carb seems to be flooding the motor when articulation offroad occurs. looked down the barrel and fuel is just trickling out when the motor is not even running.
So got another carb that i thought was the same but has a bigger barel / studd spacing. presume that means engine is a 186 with smaller cab and the new bigger carb is for a 202?
Was going to fit the new carb/plenum anyway and give it a go but seems the current settup has a crafty little adaptor that rotates the carb 90 degrees to line up with the solid accelerator linkage.
Anyone know were i can get these 90 degree adaptors to try the new carb or is it likely to just flood the engine even more and be a waste f time? probably is.
Should i just be converting to EFI? Anyone done this? Probably more hassle than what its worth? have been told current settup went well.
Car in question if anyone recognises it;

So i guess im best to try work out what the current stronberg carb and repair or replace? any carb experts out there?
