A big thanks needs to go to Tim, from this weekend at the Manukau Winch comp.

Driver and I happened to brake a sterring J arm in front of Tim who was spectating, he introduced himself, had a look and reckoned he may have a spare or two at home.

He offered to go back home, and grab a couple for us.

By the way, he lives in Hamilton!

An hour or two later, he returns with a few more tools and he gets us back on track to finish the remaing stages, and saved a tow on transporter to get back home.

Awesome mate, just a bit more public recognition for ya help.

Glad I was able to help.

I think Phil got a pretty good deal on the spare arms, I see someone on TMe is trying to sell recon ones for $180. Plus I think you are menat to send old ones as an exchange. Would be interesting to find out what they do to recon them.

As I said, glad to help to enable you do a few more of the sections and save the hassle of getting truck back home.
