I'm still having issues with my fan belt slipping and squeling like a pig, I have removed the a/c pump and the hydraulic fan unit. I'm running a really short belt. Is there some sort of idler that is used when deleting the a/c and fan pump?
Many Thanks,
Dan.

the belt runs on the un- tensioned side of the tensioner due to the a/c and fan pump being removed

Guess you've goolged it? Someone must have deleted those bits before. Can you replace one of those deleted bits with a tensioner?

unless you have removed the idler aswell. if you have then i would put idler back on to use the tensioner
