As per the title... At some point in the future I need to lift off my body from the chassis and running gear..
And would like an indication of weight.
Plan to make a frame inside garage to lift it off and then roll out what's left.
And for those thinking why?
When I purchased my truck some 10 years + ago, it wasn't until after doing the lift I noticed something funky with the coil perches and then noticed some bent bits... It turns out it was in an accident and the chassis has been tweaked. Well it was never put back in the right spot and as a result chops out bushes and doesn't quite track straight..
I have done a few work arounds...But I am a fussy sh!t

I have scored a chassis so grabbing it and putting it aside for a quiet time....

Just another job to do at some point...

Hey Calvin that body my cousin scrapped a month or so back scored him a whole $51. He thinks the rate was $150/tonne but can't remember. Making it weigh about 300kg. Didn't hav any doors, front seats or bonnet. But could weigh up to 500kg if he got the rate wrong I guess

my single cab with only the dash, seats and an empty fuel tank hanging underneath was a good lift for 4 people, even when it was an empty tub with nothing in it it was still a 4 person lift

That would make a mean trayback LWB zook. Then one could lift it. Okay maybe not just one.

As you were.
