Halfway through getting my 1995 V8 discovery Aircon out.
Looking to remove the aircon radiator, keep the fans but on a switch to push some air into the radiator. Ripped the radiator out and realised thats probably worth looking into fixing up or replacing. Mud everywhere and pretty beaten up.
Anything i should look into before just ripping the aircon out? Can i just cut all the pipes and crimp them up?
Any info or input welcome!

Remember the air cond will have gas in it that needs to be properly removed by specialist. Most places have a mobile guy that can come and do that for you.
It you just let it go into the air it causes enviromental problems.
After that just unbolt the pipes.
Easy to remove condenser once radiator out.
Once gas is out take the belt off the pump (unless you have the later serpentine belt in which case you will need teh shorter non air cond drive belt).

Sounds pretty simple to do then might have to get onto it this weekend!
Could you use the compressor for other things?

I didn't have a choice. a rogue stick in a mud hole dealt to my air con radiator.

Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.
