Hey guys im in the final stage of of building the rb25det and am wondering if someone has a td27 workshop manual that could look over the electrical section for me.

I need to know since the d21 td27 has no ecu where did the automatic TCU get its signals from (please no estimates need to look over wiring diagram picture). I believe it used the throttle position sensor and wires to the rpm and speedo in the gauge cluster.

Help would be great

thanks heap dirty dog, email paulducrot@hotmail.com .
Ended up wiring the megasquirt stand alone ecu into the engine which has no automatic control functions, but due to the dirty old td27 having no ecu it should be a problem just the throttle position sensor

Just looking through td27 service manual now. It doesn't however mention auto control or glow plug control grrr
However the td27 does run a ecu, inputs being temp sensor, RPM, and potentiometer (TPS on fuel pump).
Outputs are tachometer (dash), EGR solenoid valve (a), and EGR solenoid valve (b).
Would be handy to know if thats all this ECU runs, or if it controls glows/auto also.
I might have to start reading up online manuals...
Hope that bit helps you some,
Nath

awesome thanks for that information gives me a better idea of what i am in for. I am unaware that the td27 ran a ecu and during my entire rebuild i am yet to stumble apon the ecu, does anyone know where it is? i know the tcm is behind rear right speaker in under plastic side panel but never seen ecu.

Managed to find a wiring diagram, at control chart and a Chart that shows what the speed control deive does/connects to, no wire codes though :(

But hope this is what your looking for.

You should receive it soon.
