I've got a permanent off roader with patrol chassis and diffs. Currently the rear diff is welded and I'm looking at my options for the front diff. Unfortunately an air locker is a bit out of my budget range, so has anyone had experience with an auto locker? I'm running 36 inch simex's if that is important. I see auto lockers on tardme for around the $700 mark.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Auto locker for the front diff???
you will need to check if an auto locker is going to be strong enough. by mem i think they are rated for 34" tires max. if your running big tires and have lead feet you may find you will simply break the locker. you would be better off with a detroit locker.
