TD42

has anyone experienced there td42 getting a lil on the warm side?
cleaned radiator new radiator n thermostat, fanbelts..

How warm is warm ?, mine sits a little under half way on factory temp gauge and climbs higher on any hill, and the kaimais, well its almost 3/4 up the gauge

yea thats the same but its never done it before, ill let it develop i think.

Have you changed the viscous fan or re oiled it?

yeah they tend to have shonky gauges.
Mine gets warm sometimes....trip from aucksto picton towing 3 1/2 ton it was never over half,but cane it down the local beach out here on soft sand and it goes into the red now and again.
Get the fan looked at and the rad rodded out,then check ya hoses for crunchyness factor.

i haven't had mine go over half yet (hope theres nothing wrong with the gauge). most of the time it sits between 1/4 and 1/2 way on the gauge on and offroad, sits on 1/2 on steep climbs.

have you got a egt guage?, maby find out if its producing to much heat first, or if it is something wrong with the cooling
