drop shackles?

hey guys what corresponding mods i would need if i was to make some drop shackles for my sj413? cause i was considering doing it :)

Firstly, what do you mean by drop shackles? Longer ones, or the folding ones? Both aren't really a great idea, longer shackles will cause the spring to be over-compressed when the diff hits the bumpstop, which will f*ck your springs. The folding type are good for poser flex, but are unpredictable offroad and can flop open on sidelings or steep hills, would need a new pair of undies if that happened. :lol:

i was meaning the folding ones, do you think they are crap? cause i was gonna get ones that have pins so you can lock them closed but yeah :lol:

Not worth it, spend the money on a lockrite instead. They will just make it all floppy offroad.

can get the lockright autolockers for about 500, best way to go is an airlocker but for a chinasoong arb copy your looking at about 800 or for a genuine arb airlocker about 1400

Go for the lockrite, I have one and for the price you can't beat it. Get it installed by someone who knows their way around a diff and it will be awesome.
