Does anyone out here make their own ARB style sliders and/or bumpers for the Jeep TJ?

I just picked up a '97 TJ and am looking to get some gear for it. I know when I was in the US there were quite a few guys making their own "ARB style" sliders and heavy duty bumpers much cheaper than normally priced. Unfortunately I can't weld, but would be willing to pay someone on here to make me some.

I'm in Auckland area but would travel or possibly ship.

if ya to ship ask tom down her for the sliders..bar cause the airbag thingy is a pita

Which type are you after? There seems to be 2 arb types....one that looks like it bolts to the panels and one that welds to the chassis...
If you're out south (Manukau) gimme a yell and I'll take a look. The Air bag thing may be an issue with the bumpers...I can talk to the cert guy and see what we have to do...

I believe that works on JKs, not on TJs. The bumper sits squarely on the front ends of the frame on a TJ, there are holes in the frame behind that towards the tyres which act like crumple points.

i made a rear bumper and tyre carrier with removable tow hitch for my tj . your welcome to have a look if your ever around TeAroha.You could sort out the pros and cons.I made mine for under $300 ,its very heavy .there are some shots in the build section

If the vehicle is 14 yrs old you can remove the airbags . Has to be certed tho.
