Where is it? Seen heaps of trucks stuck there last week after the river levels came down a bit.

pulled up at waimak today, saw someone waving at me in the distance so went to see and as i got closer could see a bogged surf when got closer saw the terrano, surf got stuck trying to recover terrano so gave the surf a snatch and he then got the terrano. Terrano was there over night due to not carrying a snatch strap was quite bogged though

Re: anybody on here own the terrano stuck at the waimak?
so what was meant to be a quick drive down waimak ended up a 2 hour drive) after helping recover the surf and terrano thought i would head down abit more so went down to 4x4 area.
On arrival saw black smoke coming out from behind one of the dirt hills 1st thought was someone's truck on fire so raced over to help but surprise surprise another stolen car being burnt out. Car was still alight but not alot left of it so thought i would do the right thing and report it (unlike the other 4x4s just acting like it wasn't there)
The next thing i got told was wait at end of road for fire engines to arrive so meet them at entrance and guided them to the burning car soon enough the skies opened and pissed down making track very slippery. fire was put out and engine on way out when slid sideways on to concrete block.
So they got me to try town the block out the way was not happening so the 2nd fire truck returned to tow it out the way.
1st pic is towing block crap pic but couldn't get to close
