rearranged my shed
has been raining all day, and roadworker jokers poured a new driveway entrance at our place yesterday. shit's still soft as fook so can't drive over it (plus they said not to 'til monday lol)
thought I'd be busy with other shit but rain has cancelled that and I could've spent the whole weekend hacking around in the mud.

damn.
can't even take my freshly fixed tractor for a hoon

Quiet day at home, played with a Swann Sports Cam on the playdoh... Not too bad pic for a $30 camera... Will give it the ultimate test next weekend.
Checked my brake booster rod to master cylinder, all in spec..
Checked the one way valve.. all good. Adjusted pedal height and checked nothing binding... Oh well not much one can do might need a new brake booster, could have an internal leak...
Monstr dropped by for a coffee and a natter...
Off to work Sunday....unless I win Lotto tonight...

Ooo im intrigued! still got come check out that barn of yours there fulla.
my saturday was so exciting siting in parental class all day so much fun
looked at the shita and thought about drilling the jets in the carb. as it feels a bit flat on secondries since I got the cam tickled up, I think its running a bit lean when it opens up.
DOEAS ANY ONE HAVE OR KNOW SOME ONE THAT HAS A JET DRILL SET I CAN BORROW?

was refitting radiator fan the drive pulley inside groves full of dried mud till it was smooth inside,
this adds to the rotating mass and could help water pump bearing to fail

been dragging pine trees for a mate. figured i'd see what's gonna break on the surf before i take it bush. turns out, front diff, towbar welds and steering box

still good fun. had a bit of help from weemsy this morning - much appreciated -, test driving his new toy. did bloody well, surprised me.
moved about 60 odd trees by the time i broke my ute tonight, some would be easy 3 tonnes. using a 25 tonne snatch strap and very big chain.
time to sas it i guess. steering's bent into the sump too.

Spent some time cutting 6mm alloy tread plate with a skill saw on Saturday.
Swapped out some broken bits

Gave uwshho and datsunsafari a hand with some electrical issues on a small project. That barn is huge mate
Before you know it, people will want to put stuff in it
Cheers,

Got a positive response from the wife about buying 5 x Silverstones.
But she was like... you haven't even finished your lift yet...
So, i quickly acquainted myself with an angle grinder, cut out my old trackbar bolt, and fitted my new rear trackbar relocation bracket...
Just need the front one from ozzy now...

So, should have muds before Christmas...

Not quite the weekend, picking up a spare chassis for the playdoh...
Mine had been in an accident before I bought it over 10 years ago... And looks like it was bent then straightened... Some bits don't align like they should but I have put up with it....Also where it was bent are showing signs of rust...So while I have the funds and one has come up at a price I am happy to pay....
Gunna get it... Plan is to swap it out next year sometime.... and might do the rear chop at the same time.... will see.....

Nice weekend away, went up to the HB trial, spent a bit of saturday with the inlaws, and shot over to napier to meet DeRanged and check out his lada. Nice to meet you Reece, keep up the good work!!
rolled once during the trial and messed up the bonnet and side panels (and knocked a few things off the engine), then rolled it on the monday playing on another farm (stayed with Girlfriends Uncle on his farm) and messed up the bonnet even more...
Trial was great, I enjoyed the hazards, thanks to all who helped setup and run the event.
