I have put a 2.8 3l into my LN65 Hilux .Couple of Questions .Firstly glow plug set up.I have hooked up std set up but not really ok .What do others Who have done conversion do for glows. All good but no timer hooked up.Secondly alternators .I was running std ext regulator type but now it has shit itself .I have 2 internal reg types .Whats involved in swapping elecs to int type.I know about changing mounts etc just the elecs has me stuffed.I have some elec exp but nothing this major .Cheers for help.New motor made huge difference just these 2 thing to sort.

Some glow plugs are 7v(?) and some are 12v. Whip the glow plugs out of the old motor. Struck this before

that depends on if its using a 3 stage glow system. i would just bypass all of that and run a single stage with standard 3l glows.
ln65 is probably 2l(1) so not sure if the glows would even be swappable.

Run an in cab momentary push button with a 30 or 40 amp relay fed direct from starting battery to the glow rail. Push button triggers relay, relay supply's current to glow rail. used same setup on a 3L that i put in a series 3 landrover.
