I went into Repco the other day and it looks like their doing away with their yellow/blue/green cards at the end of this month. If you want to replace it there's a platinum card now which is available. I applied in store but here's the website for it http://repcoappcocard.co.nz/

It doesn't seem as good as the old green card but its better than nothing

6.4 Platinum Card excludes oils & grease, additives & coolant/antifreeze, car care and cleaning, car accessories, tools, paint & aerosols, trailer and towing, in car technology (audio, navigation, radar detectors & security), child seats, non automotive batteries, drinks and snacks.

Might have been quicker to list what it includes?

My understanding is that the Platinum card is just the general public discount card. When they changed away from the old trade card system, i filled in a new form and got a new trade card. it looks just like the platinum card but says "trade card" on the front.

Repco rep came into work last week and told us you won't be able to just ask for trade price - You will need a trade card.

If you are joe public you can get a discount card, but it wont have the same discount as a automotive tradie and then that will depend on what your work puts through each month.
So if your work does thousands (like mine :) ) you will get a very good discount. If not and your work only does sfa - you'll get a minimal discount.
