Fitting a 350 chev to your rangie.

Post by Athalus78 »

As the 5ltr died a while back and the repair quotes just keep getting bigger I was wondering what the hassles are with dropping a 350 chev in. IE, what gear box, manual or alternate auto? Engine mounts that kind of stuff.
Any info would be great thanks :D

Well I ended up with a 302 windsor, stage three cam, high flow extractors, torqure manifold and some other bits.
It went well but you could feel the weight on the front axel and this ment that sand work was hard due to digging in. So the alloy 5 was dug out and the repairs started. Now the heads are as worked as they can be and a crane fire ball ingnition system is on board. As sone as the ute conversion is finished it should fly.
