have some pictures of the swap just onto the wiring side of things now.
looking forward to getting it going now.
have a vats removed manual vt computer but in the process of wiring it up... does any one have any experience with wiring these computers?
anyway details.
used a petrol rodeo ra bellhousing to mate the engine to the toyota automating (perfect fit). custom engine mounts and shifted transfercase forward on crossmenber 25mm, but as you can see the engine is still a long way back. some small mods to the sump including a dipstick. found out after the motor was sitting in the truck one of the engine mounts covered the dipstick hole.....

Interesting. Does anyone know if it would fit in like that in a KZN130?
The Prado and the Surf seem to have the same bellhousing
My bank account might not like how interested I am in this topic

Looks a bit small in that engine bay

, could do with a few extra cylinders..
Will be good to see how it all goes...

thanks to evolution02 it will be up and running shortly. am supper excited to get it running its been to long especially when your only left with a 1.5l corolla as your daily driver...... conversion seems so far to be a piece of cake i think this would be a awesome conversion for a swb. just hoping the weight of the lwb isnt going to kill it too much... will keep posting..

As it sits now still waiting on a few more final touches exhaust, fan and shroud.
defiantly gives alot of room for a good shroud and easy as hell to work on tons of room
