The first 4wd I took out with a 4WD club was also a Pajero, but the next model on from yours (94, 2.8 diesel) it was also a shiny when I started taking it off road but was slowly morphing into a club truck, steel wheels, front and rear bars, winch etc I managed to sell before it became a club truck, ie when I could still buff out the scratches, before I dented it and bought a dented scratched Hilux ute that I can beat up off road.
Beware 4wding is addictive and you will modify your truck further, both intentionally and unintentionally dents, bush marks etc.
