TD04HL-15T + QD32 Intake manifold onto TD27T

Installed a custom TD04HL-15T onto my TD27T with a QD32 intake manifold.
The turbo is a direct bolt up.
I used the HT12 water lines and the oil drain. To make the install easier I had a -3 AN braided oil feed line made up for around $15.
My local exhaust shop made a 2.5" dump for me and the 2.5" exhaust.

I have a Subaru water to air intercooler to go on in the next couple of weeks. I will use a radiator from an 800-1000cc road bike as the heat exchanger and a bosch cobra water pump. I may even put a reservoir in the system to increase capacity.
I have used the factory airbox with a Wesfil WA1203 filter and removed the baffle.

I plan to run between 22 and 25psi once intercooled - Currently running about 18psi.
Reaches 12psi by 2200rpm with moderate fuelling down low and a little extra up top. in 3rd, 4th and OD it will consistently hold 18-20psi when moving through the gears.
EGT's are post turbo and see around 450 degrees at the most, so there is plenty of room for more fuel once the intercooler is fitted.

How much better is that intake manifold. They should have come with that from the start

far out i might have to do something similar to your setup, i want to get a qd32 intake but realy dont have the money for it at the moment, i do have the subaru intercooler though, just need to get some bends for it and it will be on it.

The TD04HL turbine is too large for the TD27 to push easily below 2600rpm.
I have ordered a TD04L-13T and will have that in the next week.

Thats a REALLY clean setup man! Will it be a tight fit to get the Subaru intercooler in there?

I was thinking about going for an Isuzu one with standard manifold.

But this looks sexcellent!

i think the water to air intercooler will actually sit alot nicer in this setup compared to normal one.

Why the qd32 manifold swap? Also interested to know when the turbo spools

the qd32 mainfold has better airflow and gives the cylinders a more even share of air.
