Help. Friend at work has bought an ex-army v8 landrover nad is trying to source the timing info, but not having any luck. Can anyone help me. PM me with the info if you have it and I will pass it on.

10 degrees before TDC if i remember correctly

don't forget to check the points whenever i had issues with mine it was almost always the points they do wear if not lubricated properly

And take the restrictors out of both carbs if it hasn't been done. Then it'll be more V8'ish.
