Hi, was it you who asked the question on my auction? I have a set of rims that I wanted to keep, but I would consider selling them for a decent offer.

hey,
try somewhere for brand new ones. Had a mate buy 4 brand new white 16" steeles for under a hundred bucks each. if you can find someone with the right discount i think they came to just over $50 each.
All the tyre outlets usually have access to them but not too sure who the distribution agent is.
cheers

The only place that I have seen so far is on trademe, $110 each, and they are 0 offset so not that great. Suzukis are hard to find 16" rims for because they are 5-stud, not 6-stud.

Yes i saw those rim's, i mentioned them to my mate an i dont think he interested in paying 110 a rim, he said he going to stop in a wrecker after work today.
An yes that was me asking on trademe, whats the lowest your take for your auction? an would you consider sale with out tire's?
Cheers

Hey
Thanks, good advise but we don't really have time to shop around, hence why i put it out there here on ORE in hope that someone has a set laying around from upgrading a set of tire's or wheels they mite want some cash for to help fund there next mod to their truck.

Factory SJ 16" rims are only 4.5" wide so no good for 35s
Factory Vitara or grand Vitara 16" are only 6-7" wide so no good for 35s and are a 0 or positive offset which will cause big interference issues with 35s , plus the centres are not movable .
you could try an find some super rare F100 Rims or some super rare large negative offset jeep rims .
best option is buy some 0 offset 16x8 rims and have the centres flipped to get the offset you require .

Oh ok true that. the suzk it's going on dose not have a body on the chassie so we not to worried about the rubbing or offset as much as, an he tell's me that the wheels a skinny 35" so its a plus plus situation.
I assume he have to sus something out up front for when full lock steering as the tire will prob rub on the chassie, as mine dose with only 30.5x9.4r16 tire's. will wheel spacer help correct this wee henderence? or is there any other ways around?
Cheers

You could buy the other set of rims I have, they have a large offset to clear chassis.
