Using a high lift jack on a terrano

Post by terrano »

Where do you use as a mounting point for a high lift jack on a terrano, do you need to custom make points? For changing tyres for example?

Sliders.... Hi Lifting is one of the reasons their on my to do list. Factory bumpers seem pretty sturdy for off road protection but I wouldn't hi lift off them.

Or If your truck has a tow bar and you don't want it, you could remove the bumper and cut/grind/drill/reposition the tow bar crossmember to fit between the chassis rails. That's what I did, so now the rear bumper is 4X2 box section, which is a great platform for hi-lifting. Now I just gotta fizz some tube end pieces on to protect the rear quarters.
