Post by brianr70 »

Can anyone tell me the best place to attach a rear tow hook on 91 surf with no towbar :?: :?: :?:

Because the rear bumper is so much lower than the chassis, a chassis mounted hook is a problem. A lot of towbars available for LN130 surfs are too weak and too poorly mounted too handle the leverage factor of a hook as well

As JTop says, there is no easy way to mount to the chassis with the rear bumper in the way.

My towbar had to be reinforced to be usable as a tow hook mount point.

Would depend on your towbar, as a few people have said the factory towbars aren't that strong.

Mine had to be reinforced.
