they are a big motor so never going to be awesome fuel users but a big part is how you drive it, if i'm happy to chug away and get up to speed slowly its around 11lts per 100km. thats a td42 with winch and 33" tyres and a couple of dicky injectors

manuals tend to be bit better on gas.
My auto uses 14l/km on avaerge. good strong n/w head wind and shes up to 20l/km. thats with some tried injectors.
But are a strong truck and will never beak if you drive sensiblyish.
Does pay to use the seach function though. most of these topics have been done to death.(Its at the bottom of the page)
