Re: Surf winch bar
I have 1 of these on my 185 surf. Finish is good although mine is a little twisted for some reason. Took a bit of mucking around to get it right. Havnt tried the winch on it yet but it seems a little wobbly. Will be putting some gussets on before I try it in anger.
Overall still a good deal and wayyyyyyyy easier than building 1.
Cheers

Re: Surf winch bar
Yeah wasnt bad, the winch mounts to the bracket rather than the bar. Its a really good idea with it having air bag mounts. I ended up mounting it a wee way back by drilling new holes. Also drilled a hole for the free spool lever (made longer) to stick out the top. Really easy to get to.
Re: Surf winch bar
i got one seems allgood only used the winch once so far and worked ok, as the bar is attached to the chassi but is a two pice item could posible suit a body lift as well with a lil bit of welding and drilling new holes for the bar to attach to the mount
i had to move round the housing on the winch to get it to come out the hole already at the top
i got some photos pm me your email and will send them to ya as im not to sure how to post
