Hi all,
I am wanting to give my l200 a bit more ower (same old story)
I am after an intercooler set up for a 4d56t or suggestions on intercoolers to suit
I am also looking for an electronic boost controller, so I can set my low boost to just above normal, and High boost to a coule of pounds above that, can anybody suggest a good and cheap for this?
I will also be needing EGT gauge and deending on the boost controller may also need a boost gauge.
Cheers

Personally I wouldnt bother with a boost controller of that type on a diesel, it will cost more and wont be practical. Reason being when you tune your fuel pump(more fuel) for more air/boost if you then drop your boost to your second setting your egts will sky rocket and possibly do damage. Just buy a 50buck boost tee and plumb that in. You can still change boost settings in seconds, but honestly get an egt and boost gauge, intercool it, raise your boost then add fuel to get up to your max loaded egt temps and enjoy. More boost means nothing to output without more diesel, adding more boost just drops egts(depending on turbo efficiency). Adding more diesel raises egts, so its all about balance. A turbo out of its effieciency range wont help with much either but moderate boost increases on factory turbos are fine.
