Got my new sway bar disconnects in on the front, keen to see how they go. Bit of a mission getting the passenger side existing link out, had to resort to the grinder.

Replaced the wheel bearings and the brass bushings that the CV axle rides in on the drivers side. Heaps better now, the front end is a lot quieter.

Time to take it out for a play again.

Matt.

I spent Saturday trying to sort the brakes on the 109. New piece of bundy tube put in (a couple of weeks ago it had sprung a leak - quite amusing at the time .......... I was towing a 3000kg trailer!!!!!!!) & bled the system but still a tad spongy :? :? . Also tried to fix the handbrake as it hasn't worked for ages ..... took it off & tried new shoes & drum from one of my spare trucks .... still no good - looks like I might have to spent some $
Spent today sticking fence post in the ground - no post hole borer .... so good old fashiond shovel :? :? :? then got the tractor stuck coming back up the track   it's still there it can wait 'til next weekend now

Hi Furgus
Try backing off the snail cam adjusters before you bleed the brakes, this allows full return of the w/cyl to help remove air. Plus if you mix up the rear shoes you will never get a pedal as they only work one way round, o/set adj pins etc.

Thanks JTop - I never actually touched the rear shoes as they were fine - it was the handbrake (on the rearprop shaft) shoes I was talking about.

What condition is no name rd in at the moment? I am over next weekend, and just need to know what types of vehicles could make it through without too much trouble.
How long did it take?

Cheers,
Dave
