Adjusting rear brake valve (?) in a lifted KZN130 Surf

Have a '95 Hilux Surf (KZN130). 3" lift. Have been told by a couple of people that the rear brake valve (I think that's what it's called?) needs adjusting. Just wondering if anyone has done this adjustment to compensate for the lift - and if they could share how to do it properly.

Refer to image below. This is what needs adjusting, correct? If yes, up? How far etc.?

Thanks.

If you aren't gonna answer or contribute to the Q don't bother posting. I have Googled but before I touch anything I want to talk to someone who has done this on a Surf, hence posting on here. Google isn't always right you know bud.

Easiest way is the make up a spacer to raise it 3 inches ...will take about 15 mins to make & just bolt it on.....thats what i have done ....brakes work mint.

Sweet. Does a bracket have to be used? Can I adjust the threaded partmso the bracket sits as high as it can go, and bend the bar as much as poss? Estimating it will lift it about 1.5-2" from where it currently is. Would that work?

Might give it a go and see if I can notice a difference, assuming moving the bracket up to the top of that threaded part by loosening the 2 nuts is the way to adjust it? Most of those links talk aboutmadjusting the other end though..
