I'm about to rebuild my swivel hubs and was wondering if it was worth putting a set of these in (http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.ph ... rings.html) while its apart? Do they work to strengthen the front end up or is it a waste?

Also is it worth getting one of these (http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/index.ph ... ocket.html) for the wheel bearings? or is there a better/cheaper option?

Thanks
Dean

Yeah, those rings are a good investment, I ran them in my supercharged samurai, and never had any cv breakages. Just make sure you clearance the housing enough.

The rings do the job of preserving the CV's well.

Catch is it just tranfers the load to the next weak point, the axles, which break right at the CV instead.

The rings are a good cheap option for strengthening the front end up for minimum $$$$ :D :D
