Hey guys I bought two brake calipers to replace the one on my surf that has recently seized and after they arrived today I found that they are the wrong ones.
The ones I bought say S12W printed on them. Am looking to sell both for $115 or consider swap for a front left caliper to fit a VZN130 surf. The one I need has S13WB printed on it.

you should just refab the ones you have. pull them apart and put a piece of emry cloth around something in your cordless drill with some kero and hone them out. get a kit from your local ripco and install. make sure you get the boots to keep the water and shit out (why they seize in the first place) youll prob find they do it alot if you use your vehicle offroad so it pays to get a system going for doing this on the cheap.
Its not good paying $100 everytime they seize.

there is no need to hone i think you will find that the seal does the work and the boot the protector . use a wire brush wheel to clear any rust or crap from the seal & boot channels u can use a wire wheel to buff the internal calliper pot if piston not pitted just buff on bench grinder wire wheel. try BNT for kits prob cheaper than repco clean all parts reasemble .
it is tru u dont want to buy replacements every time .
the hone & kero is correct method but make sure u was parts well as seal dont like kero .

to refab do you undo the two bolts on the side and the two halves pull apart? once you have them apart do the pistons slide / push out allowing you to hone the cylinders?
If you have done this before mike do you mind telling me the steps to go through and what exactly i should be buying from repco?
Got the first side of cv joints out tonight to replace the cv boots. Was a hell of a mission disconnecting the upper and lower ball joints to pull it all out - i must have done something the wrong and hard way but hopefully i can get that done over the weekend!
