Assuming you are referring to a front spoiler, as soon as you go off road it will come off a hellva lot easier that it went on!

Have you got a 4WD for off road or is it a race car?

Can't see the point in it for a 4WD, especially one that is intending to go off road. Gues its just something else for the trees and branches to wipe off.

Hi, why do want to put one on?

Reason I ask is I've just taken mine off because I hate how the spoilers look on surfs..

If you want to put one on, you'll need to drill four smaller holes in the back to hold it on, and one big one to fit the spoiler, the big ones for the wiring. All the wiring is revealed underneath the rear trim at the back/top of the boot area. Check to see if the wiring is there?

No one mustnt understand what they look like

my surf had one way good helped prevent dust coming in rear window when down on 4wd trips

I believe they are easy to fit have had couple mates fit them up

Yeap, that looks like them, you'll just have to drill them out once you get the spoiler. Everything else should come with the spoiler.

I had one fitted to mine, was an easy job as everything is there plug wise as you have found.

I had a surf with one and bought another without, but had it fitted. They do make a difference with sucking the exhaust in with window down. Not as much difference as I had hoped but still noticeable. Personally think they look better too, esp on the pre '95 Surfs, the later ones with the rear view thing look a bit boxy and more likely to rip off. Mine ('94) has brushed off everything so far, but mine is a bit of a shiney!

I have fitted one to and LN130 89 year and it was an ass to say the least. Im sure 93 onwards will have the provisions for them though. Deff helped with dust on the back window and exhaust with the window down. As for getting ripped off, unless you like to drive upside down in your truck I would say rather unlikely. From memory there only a little higher than the roof as there out the back more than up. Plus ide hate to see that state of your roof if thats a real issue for you :D
