trying to get away with minimum lift on the safari so!

fitting 35X11.5x15 simex's

i have already cut the guards away by 30+mm and refitted the lip.

now i am drawn to go for efs 2" suspension lift plus 1'' body lift but i am also considering efs 3" suspension lift with no body lift, i realise the implications of 3" lift and the need for drop boxes/adj pans/brake lines etc that doesnt worry me as i have them already and it will need a cert either way, i just want to keep the truck as low and stable as possible...

so what are you guys getting away with as a lift??

guy i coey for has a 3in lift in his truck with triple block 35in simex.
just remember if you want any life out of the body don't put in a body lift as these things have weak body mounts.

I keep hearing that repeated, I've got a 2" body lift( amongst a few other alterations  ) & have had no problems, if you'd seen what I've put this truck thru if this was true the body should have fallen off by now.

3in efs lift and guard cutting fit 35's on my swb. with 15x10's the tyres fit up inside the rear arches but I had to fit 20mm bumpstop spacers to stop any rubbing when bounced on full compression. I have a driveline spacer and castor bushes and its been fine. Probably should have drop boxes but its driven so well without them I stuck with the bushes.

ok, thanks. right looks like bump stop adjustment is a must on the rear and 3'' lift. i already have a 1'' bodylift made up so may use it if i have too. my last truck seemed too tall so i wanted this one to be lower. dont want to make up barwork until ive got it right.
