took my 97 land rover discovery out today 1st time off road with it since purchase a week ago, she went well and managed to go anywhere my friends land cruiser went, we had a play in the waimak river, I'm happy with how she went

You sound like you are surprised, surely you mean his Land Cruiser went everywhere you Disco went.
