it bolts straight in but you might have to check the bolt pattern on the driveshaft flanges match and swap the flanges over if there different, and also check the change in driveshaft angles not going to cause anything to fowl? Also check the ratios if you havent already :D

edit* are you just swapping diff head or trying to do a full playdough axle housing swap coz all the steering shit is different

Just the diff head if I can. If I'm unable will swap housing but want To avoid doing that.

Yeah as sadam said , head bolts straight in, and the flange bolt pcd is the same. Need to check drive shaft length and clearance at full crush etc etc

Ok now this is getting interesting.

Can a prodo with e locker bolt in.

Isn't the 80 series a 9 inch. If so what is needed to make this fit looks like some sort of custom flange in the pick. That would be the ultimate

The 80's have a 8" front diff and a 9" rear. As the photo shows all you need to do it cut some of the flange away and weld up 2 of the holes and drill and tap 2 more. There are heaps of threads in the states on how to wire them up to a dpdt switch. If you can't get the plugs go to a wrecker and cut them off a chain driven surf transfer case. The plugs are the same for both in engaged light and the motor and limiting switches.

80 series front is 8 inch, pretty sure the same elocker as Prado. Pictured is a hilux front housing with 3 stud s removed an holes filled, then 4 studs added. Built up the flange area and ground/filed flat before drilling and taping. A wee bit of clearancing internally where vivid marks are

Cheers. I can see the vivid marks now.

Hilux axils would not need any adjustment is this correct?

When I went from open to lsd, I had to trim 3mm off axels. No further axel mods needed when I went elocker
