well not a 4wd but trademe is so damn expensive I though I would post up on here as well as the jet boating forum.
My jet boat is for sale. Its a jem. Jet boating is just like 4wding but faster! Great fun. Below is a copy of my add on nzjetboating
Hamilton 141a
I am thinking it is time to sell the boat. Last year insurance almost cost as much as the fuel!
I have moved to Qtwn from Chch and we have a family boat I use for water skiing and seem to do more of that than jet boating these days. Thought I would try on there first before trademe.
I think the hull is 1990
I have had it 3 years and have done a lot of work to it.
When I got it it had done a lot of boating and needed a tidy up so I got Gareth from jet seeker straighten it out a bit.
At the same time I put in the vortec 350 chev that was in my old boat. The motor has now done between 30 and 40 ours on it (will have to check the meter) It was brand new from jet boat base a few years ago.
Other bits to mention....
Hitashi high torque starter
optima blue top battery
753 unit
southern jet trim nozzle
scott bullet front blade
new cutlas bearings
electric and manual fuel pumps
new under floor heat exchanger
new sand trap
Trailer
New axle hubs and stubs last year
new tyres
new LED lights
This boat goes great. With the vortec motor and trim nozzle it jumps out of the water. Great for shallow starts. It has a nice slow planing speed and does really tight u turns without dropping its bum. Shitloads of power to get you into more than enough trouble up the river. Good in the lake with the trim nozzle down.
The only thing that lets this boat down is the seats which are ok but only 2 buckets and a small dicky seat in front of the engine cover.
I have made a really strong aluminium engine cover and put a short water pump on to allow more room in the cabin and there would be plenty of room for a bench seat and two buckets.
I have bought two bare buckets and a three seater bench off hamiltons but have not had them covered yet. These will be included for 80% of what I paid for them (will have to check, think they were about $400)
Could also do with some new plaining strakes but I never got round to it.

and a quick video
Looking for $23,000 as is, $25,000 once I have the new seats in but not sure when that will be.
Call or PM me if interested
Cheers,
Pete
