Can anyone suggest any suitable tracks/roads/locations in Bay of Plenty area for shiney trucks?? :?: :shock:

how shiney are we talking here ? like gravel road shiney or bit more fun than that ? where in BOP are you wanting to look ? theres a lot of places to go playing but depending on what sort of level you want and where will narrow the search.

looking any place within 1-2 hrs of Tauranga....the odd stratch or two okay :D ...however experience level on the average side for one or two of the drivers.....Cheers 8)

i have never been in there exploring but looks like there is some interesting stuff up in behind Mclarens falls, turn off the main road from waikato to tauranga. looks interesting, something i have been meaning to do for a long time and never gotten around to. there is thompsons track from the tearoha side to the summit is a fairly easy drive and heaps of fun. there is soo many tracks that i have never explored in the kaimai's that all look interesting.

best thing to do is get yourself a topo map of the area and go exploring, like up in the back of waikino looks interesting, golden cross rd etc...

too many options, pick one and go look,see what its like and let us know how you get on :wink:

also dont forget there is the north island safari that is comming up on labour weekend that will be a blast :twisted:
