Well guys ive been taken to that place on youtube and came accross these oil filter suppressor, and boy do they work!
Im quite supprised how well it works.

Please dont use a USED oil, filter!!
Remember, you are throwing fire and a heap of hot and expanding gas into a paper lined tin already full of flammables!!
Also, the nice new fire will be directed back at you via the oil ways in the bottom of the filter.

Yup, I had forgotten that you are a Darwinist!
But now that I have a nice little lathe, this is an exercise I am going to try. Reluctant to add threads to the 44, but I have a threaded 22. Will report back as to effectiveness on completion.
