Patrol is a massive seller in the Middle East and Russia - two countries where petrol is so inexpensive that nobody bothers about diesel.

yeap. writing in the wall there unfortunately there are probably enough patrol owners in the middle east and eastern europe to make up the population of NZ and aussie,

If that is the case may as well buy a Cadillac Escalade. With all the electronics in the new patrol you'll probably have doubts about even driving it in the rain let alone along a beach, river or through a creek.

Atleast with the GM you'll get an actual leather interior with leg room for the likes of michael Jordan, a ride like sitting in a lazy boy even when your run over the odd supermarket trolley and enough cup holders to hold a years worth of chewing gum wrappers 5 TV screens a fridge and a gun rack....they also come with the Armour plate options which is garrunteed to stop a anti personnel mine from penetrating the under body components etc etc

did i mention it'd probably be cheaper to import an escalade too.
Waiter...there is a drought in my glass.

i see there is a Y62 at manawatu nissan atm.... i saw one while over at ARB a couple of years ago when they were 1st released to saudi etc... they are friggen big like a 200..... but thats the drive of the 'now market', unfortunately car manufactures these days dont think "gee i wonder if this will still be an off-road weapon in 20 yrs time on its 15th owner"

in the latest aussie 4x4 action they compared old 4x4s with equivalent new ones and new came out on top..... no Y62 thou....

i wouldnt want to own a current new generation 4x4 in 20 yrs time i dont think...
i used to Cruise, now i PATROL
