Just wondering where other people have mounted there cb's, im thinking up on the roof might be a goer but wondering how to actually mount it to the lining?

Where have you mounted your cb? Pics would be nice.

Thanks

Here are some pics.. (out of a KZJ78 Prado) First one is in the roof, used to have a full din sized CB then put in a smaller PRS / UHF...
Now its sporting a normal car radio...
Used the mount points for interior light / sun roof controls and made a frame...
Then the light / controls attached to the frame...
Moved it after a few years as the mic lead would get in the way....
Second pic is the new location of the PRS / UHF which fits in nice between the center console and trans tunnel just forward of the gear lever...
Mic mounted on center console...

I use the ashtray :(

That roof mount job looks real good, a real pro job.

I made up a alloy plate that mounted using the screws for the reveiw mirror, then ran wires in some little stick on clip things along top of window then down the plastic gaurd on a pillar
