KZN130 Surf Coolant Temp Alarm/Buzzer

Is there anything that the KZN130 Surf does when the coolant gets to the "almost too hot" stage? I know one thing it does is turn off the AC and not allow it to be turned on but unsure if this is when it gets actually too hot, or almost - does anyone know at what temp this kicks in?
Have read a DIY tutorial for a Merc alarm buzzer when the coolant gets to a certain point. At about 102'c it kicks in an aux fan or the normal fan at a faster speed - tapping into this with an LED or alarm buzzer is easy and cheap.
Wanting to hook up the same sort of buzzer/alarm in my Surf when the coolant temp get's to a certain point. Thinking 100'c is probably a good place to start. A warning light on a gauge doesn't really suffice - where my gauge is I won't see it unless I'm looking at it.
If anyone has any info on this please do share!
