ln106 rebuild from invercargill

hi all

im new to the forum wish id found this about 3months ago coulda been very handy but owell ....

i have a 1991 hilux 4x4 ln106 which ive just decide to do a full rebuild of and now nearing completion

yea my hilux just bout back on road and i got a couple of mud bug projects to start once its done i would upload pics of the rebuild but with over 250 photos taken from motor in/out panel beating striping painting puting back together redoing door cards dual batt spotlight setups building bullbars i think id over load the system.........

practically a hardwired jumper lead incase my main starting battery dies flick the switch and use the 2nd battery to start engine Image

yea they do aye and na not yet still working on a wee few bits to get it back on the road new laws state that cause i changed the old block out for a new one rather than bore the 3y i have to get it certd so im building my arb style bumper before i go for cert

made these here up and put them on the back pillar not sure if i like them there but eh its there now

thinking of adding tow hooks onto the side of this by adding another plate onto the side of the 12mm then drilling and taping threw both Image

yea getting there get this bull bar finished of when this weather plays ball then can get the bloody landrovers going again and start there tlc

been busy with work and other life dramas but got some work done bars nearly done winch plate done/angle irons cut to shape and mounts made now peice it together /final bits and then paint

Looks good. What thickness material did you use for the bar and the winch mount?

ive used 3mm for the bar and 8mm for the winch plate which ill try get photos of this w.e and then 10mm 90x90 angle aswell

well got the bumper onto the truck but have decide to change my mounts

and this is the winch plate and tow eyes Image
plate is 8mm steel and the mounts it sits on which are also the tow eyes are 90x90x10 angle

and all painted and bolted to truck oh and I also added two hooks aswell for quick attach just behind shackle holes
