airflow snorkel on a safari

wonder if anybody could help,just got a airflow snorkel for my swb 1990 safari,have fitted it ,but i where it comes through inner wing the radiator expansion tank is in the way, do u move the rad expansion tank somewhere else?? has anyone got any photo's of there engine bay??
any help would be good

It should end up coming through in front of the tank, where the existing hole is for the factory intake.
The extension piece that runs inside the guard should put it directly there.

thanks that explains it all, i brought 2nd hand and did not come with extension to run along the inner wing to the factory hole at the front,can u buy the extension seprate??

I'd look at getting some flexi tubing and use that instead.
Make sure you use something to protect it in areas that it may rub the body work.
Try the hosing before you buy it, as some heavier duty types may not bend around very well.
Use a lot of sealer too on all joins.

I would ask Al Bundy what hose he used as his is heavy duty rubberish looking hose.

Paykel Engineering has a complete range of hoses,they should have something suitable. H2o got some sexy winery hose from there for his intake

mmm might explain why he falls over all the time
