Kick this one off Pig Farm today with Norwest OHV Club. Found some mud Big thanks to everyone that attended. Special thanks to Phraza for awesome pics. There are more of others but I'll let them post those. For those that have been there before, so dry that you could drive up the "staircase"
Cheers,

I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!
Hell yea, pig farm was awesome. Got 100's of pics, here is a few of the Jeep, didnt get any action shots, next time i'll make sure i have a co-driver to do that for me!
Drove to Wellington on Friday, flew home saturday.. Daughter starting Uni at Victoria. So kept her company on the long drive and we both took turns at the wheel... The country is soooo dry. Parts looked just like Otago in the summer.... brown as.. Only started getting green again when we got closer to Welly.... Will play with the playdoh today (Sunday), trial fit WTA intercooler and check the valve clearances..
pig farm yesterday with the club, still very dry up there but we still managed to find some mud to play in,a good day as always and everyone drove out under their own steam(even the lada ),but bring on the rain sorry no pics from me as usual
was rebuilding my front diff, new bearing and seals.... turns out I should have got king pin bearings, passangers top side was smashed no wonder it pulled to the left.
Cheers suzolla for the trailgear kit, works and seems bloody good
Attempted to fix the surf saggy rear end problem with some reportedly better springs, after a few hours and some cretive jacking i still have a saggy rear end
Saved the best achievement until last.....secured a complete 4.8 front diff for $75 as a spare from Helensville. Now i can drive with more disregard and anger
Cheers,

Started a new job at BNZ a couple of weeks ago so have been flat out and haven't got a chance to do much... I haven't even had time to come on here. So anyone want some new accounts or lending pm me haha.
Spent a little time on the alternator in the safari found that I forgot to put a plastic washer in so once back together it should be sweet. Also got new seals and O ring for the vac pump.
On another note saw Phraza the other weekend when. We picked the wife's car up from the trans place and decided we have spent far to much money on it so traded her in and got a 04 xr6 turbo haha 245kw is nice under your right foot not as much as others on here but boy it can move.

ah is that what you were doing haha
Yeah it was our 4th trip down to pick it up as every other time we picked it up with in 10min it went into limp mode (3rd gear) so had to go back and they filled the tank because of the inconvenience but it was a huge financial strain to go down every weekend for a month so told them if its not fixed that they better have a CHQ for $3200 for a full refund and a rebuilt trans (which is what it should have been)... I think i void the warrenty when I left haha but owell its gone now.
