I had a v6 in a 90/91 4 runner,and you could watch the fuel gauge move over a 20 km trip into town..Im putting a turbod km V8 in and think economy will almost improve....but unless this one had issues(not that i was aware of?) it wasn't economical.
modified surf, hardly drive it seem to keep modifying it....

Be prepared to spend lots (and lots) on gas that's all

I've had a v6 one in the past and now a v8 one. The v8 is way cheaper to run
Current 4wd: Surf Kzn185 ssrg factory Intercooled (yet to start build)

and they have no power my holden 3.8 in my hilux uses half the fuel my old 3 litre surf did

'85 Hilux crawler, 3rz, duals, 4.7's, 4.88's, ARB's, 30 spline Longfields, 6 stud SNR4x4 Histeer, Airshocks up front, coiled rear, 40" Iroks.

I have a v6 surf and it is real thursty and way under powered compared to my 1kz surf. Approx $20 for 50 ish kms (altho mine could have other isses and lots oh hills)

Im roughly looking at 300km to a tank around town with approx 40kg worth of gear in it constantly... Does this sound about right ?
