Spare on different size rim???

Post by micahb »

Running 36" Simex's on 15" rims and can get a 36" Swamper quite cheap for spare (rather than forking out $600ish for a Simex), but its for a 16" rim. in my mind rolling circumference is the same so should be ok. But keen to hear your thoughts. Don't want to bugger my shit up, so tell me if I'm missing some crucial part of the equation. haha.
Cheers, Micah.

you should be allright for a spare,

im pretty sure the imperial measurements are the same on both tyres wether for 15's or 16's, had a good arguement about it with someone.

think when it comes to metric measurements theyre different though.
