Newbie with L300 4x4

Hi @all!

We just got ourselves an 1991 L300 4x4, 2.0l carby and are about to live and travel around NZ in it.
Originally we're from Germany but have been traveling for a while
We already realized, there are many other of our countrymen around and some are not always behaving as a guest in a foreign country should, so we try to stay well away from those sort of people.

So far we are on the south island now, made ourselves at home in the Van, got some interior ready and fixed and exchanged some parts of the engine...
I've got an VW Vanagon, built 86 back at home so I've got a bit of experience in doing mechanical works.
I'll post some pictures about our mods later, since our internet connection isn't too god right now...
