Just joined the 4x4 fraternity! Nissan R50 1995 TD27T, will be used for accessing fishing sites. Pleasantly surprised with it's ability to negotiate rough ground. Few things to fix like annoying harmonics at certain speeds. Something will be lose somewhere, just need to find it!

Look forward to being able to access all the expertise and knowledge of experienced owners.

Hey, Im in Timaru. Sometimes I take my fat 4 legged barking mini monster for a walk in either the Opihi or Temuka rivers around the main road bridges. Gave me a PM if you want to go and have a play oneday.

I'm another Temuka newbie :)
I've got a Mitsi L200 doublecab.
It's had a bit of a tweak on the torsion bars, got some new muddies on with an extra offset on the rims.
I've got plans to do some more mods like converting the aircon to an air compressor and making some bash plates.

No snorkel yet and I'm happy learning in the rivers for a while ;)
I do know that it can run with water 6 inches deep in the cab as I found a hole whilst playing in the orari below clandeboye!
I don't know as I would want to get it any deeper than that anyway, I do have to drive it to work as well.

The Orari, is known to be a bit soft down that way also. So be careful.
