That i can understand,
But why put a 4.2l diesel from a toyota, in a truck that came out with a 4.2l diesel engine anyway? at least size would be the same but wouldnt ya be better shoving a turbo on it and calling it a day?
i suppose each to their own, hes obviosly got enough money to fling lol
Re: Sacrilege....according to some!
Would it be called a Nisyota or a Toysan?

Mick has peddled it for just on 10 years in various guises – comp vehicle, tourer, with aftermarket turbo, airbox, exhaust and suspension upgrades
Must have just figured the toyota motors specs were what he was after. But didn't want to change wagons. Why not alter nissan engine to do what the toyota one does? Maybe because the he didn't get the
.push-button, selectable 2WD to AWD for on-road use, with centre diff lock
Or maybe, just maybe, it's because it's gunna be one of the most talked about (loved and hated) wagons around.....

If you drive a e.g 98/99 4.2td patrol then jump into a 98/99 4.2td landcruiser
